You don’t have to hold it all together alone.
Individual therapy for highly sensitive, intuitive, or emotionally overwhelmed adults in Ontario.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Therapy with me is a space where all parts of you are welcome — the tender, the messy, the brave, and the unsure. I work from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive lens and draw from somatic therapy, parts work (like IFS), emotion-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. Together, we explore the connection between your mind, body, and emotions to support deeper healing — not just symptom relief. I hold space for tears and laughter, grief and joy, rage and softness, because you're allowed to be all of it. I bring a touch of intuitive insight, warmth, and realness into every session, so that you can feel safe, seen, and supported in your growth. This isn’t about becoming someone new — it’s about returning to yourself.
COMMON THEMES EXPLORED
Anxiety, Depression, and Burnout
It’s not uncommon for these experiences to show up together — feeling drained, stuck in thought spirals, overwhelmed by even the smallest tasks. I work especially well with folks who are neurodivergent and may have a different relationship to these experiences. Together, we’ll gently attune to your nervous system, co-regulate, and explore holistic ways to create new neural pathways — shifting patterns that no longer serve you and building strategies that actually fit your life.
Identity Loss and Life Transitions
Transitions — whether chosen or unexpected — can shake us. Maybe you're starting university, ending a long-term relationship, becoming a parent, or just no longer recognizing who you are. These moments can bring grief, anxiety, and possibility all at once. We’ll explore the story that’s shifting, the parts of you being asked to evolve, and how to meet this next chapter with clarity and care.
Grief and Ambiguous Loss
Grief isn’t just about death. It can also come from the loss of a pet, the fading of a friendship, the version of your life you thought you’d have. Ambiguous loss — the loss that doesn’t have clear closure — can be especially confusing and lonely. In our work, you’ll have space to name what’s been lost, feel what’s present, and slowly begin to hold both the ache and the meaning.
Emotional Dysregulation
Do your emotions feel like they hit in tidal waves? Or maybe they build slowly until they overflow? Emotional intensity — especially common in ADHD and neurodivergent folks — doesn’t mean something is wrong with you. It means you feel deeply. Our work will help you understand your emotional rhythms, recognize your unique cues, and develop tools to move through those moments with more ease and self-kindness.
Inner Critic, Confidence & Boundaries
Sometimes the biggest struggle is with the voice in your head — the one that tells you you’re not enough, too much, or always behind. Whether it's about people-pleasing, struggling to set boundaries, or constantly questioning your worth, we’ll work on building a stronger, kinder connection to yourself. This might include exploring what your inner critic is protecting, practicing self-compassion, and reconnecting to your own needs and values.
Healing from Childhood Wounds and Family Dynamics
Our earliest relationships shape how we relate to ourselves and others. Whether you're working through family enmeshment, emotional neglect, or old patterns that still linger, this space is for exploring how your past impacts your present. We’ll look at what you’ve carried, how you’ve coped (even if those strategies aren’t working anymore), and what it might look like to feel safer, more empowered, and more whole.
Those who are tired of therapy that only scratches the surface. Those who want something that feels less mechanical and more human — where you don’t have to filter yourself or explain your existence.
Those who live with anxiety that loops through your thoughts like a constant hum — overthinking, second-guessing, always bracing for the worst — and who want to find a way to come home to themself.
Those who are moving through depression that feels like emotional quicksand: hard to name, hard to move through, hard to explain to others. Those ready for something gentle but real.
Those who have been through trauma — relational, generational, systemic — and who are looking for a space that honors that complexity without pathologizing their survival.
Those who hold space for everyone else but feel like no one really holds it for them. Those who are the “strong one,” the “healer,” the “go-to,” and are quietly exhausted.
Those who crave emotional depth and self-understanding, but are scared of being too much, or not enough.
Those who want to feel more connected — to their body, to their relationships, to their purpose — but keep getting stuck in cycles they can’t seem to break.
Those who are curious about inner child healing, parts work, or mind-body therapy, and who want a space that blends the spiritual with the psychological in a grounded, compassionate way.
WHO IS IT FOR?
WHAT SESSIONS LOOK LIKE?
Sessions with me are collaborative, compassionate, and customized to you — no rigid checklists, no pressure to show up with the “right” thing to say. Whether you’re in the middle of a crisis or just need to sit with something tender that you can’t quite name, we’ll meet it together.
I offer:
50-minute sessions for deeper processing and exploration
30-minute sessions for check-ins, resourcing, or when time is limited
Virtual across Ontario
$160 per session (sliding scales available)
You don’t have to have it all figured out before you show up. We’ll set intentions together and work at a pace that honours your nervous system, your needs, and your story.
Sometimes you’ll laugh. Sometimes you’ll cry. Sometimes we’ll sit in silence for a few breaths to let something settle. It’s all welcome here.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
That’s more common than you think. Sometimes therapy didn’t work because it wasn’t the right approach, the right timing, or the right connection. I focus on creating a space that’s warm, flexible, and tailored to you — not one-size-fits-all. If we work together, we’ll check in regularly to make sure the work is feeling aligned and supportive. You deserve to feel safe, seen, and empowered in this process.
-
You’re not alone in that. Some sessions start with silence or uncertainty — and that’s okay. You don’t need to perform or prepare. Therapy is a space where you get to show up exactly as you are. We’ll follow what feels present, even if that means slowing down, noticing what’s in your body, or simply taking a few deep breaths together. There’s no “wrong way” to do this.
-
Not at all. You don’t need a diagnosis, a specific goal, or a major life event to seek support. Many of my clients come in just feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck — and that’s more than enough. Therapy can help you understand yourself better, strengthen your emotional tools, and reconnect with your own sense of clarity and purpose.
-
Absolutely. As a neurodivergent therapist, I understand the nuances of living with ADHD and other neurodivergent experiences. Our sessions will honor your unique ways of thinking and processing, providing strategies that align with your strengths.
-
You can absolutely vent, cry, or rant when you need to — and sometimes that alone is healing. But our work will also go deeper. Together we’ll explore your patterns, your nervous system, your inner parts, and the root stories beneath what you’re feeling. This is about building insight, resilience, and real change, not just coping.
-
Absolutely. I am committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
-
The duration of therapy varies for each individual. Some clients find a few sessions helpful, while others engage in longer-term work. We'll regularly assess your progress and adjust as needed.
-
My approach is holistic and can incorporate spiritual elements if that resonates with you. Whether you're interested in exploring personal meaning, intuition, or simply seeking a grounded space, we'll tailor the sessions to your preferences.
